Tephra Ti
Materials ain’t materials. Just as you can go down to your local bike
shop and spend 300 or 1400 bucks on an Aluminium frame, nowadays you
can do the same with Titanium.
“So, Titanium is titanium right? There’s two frames here, both made
from 3/2.5 titanium, one is 700 bucks and this one is almost two grand!
What gives?”
The answer is simple. We only use materials and welders that have a
proven track record in bicycle fabrication. For us, that means Ancotech
tubing, Paragon Machine Works hardpoints, and welders that have been
fab’ing Ti bike frames for decades, not months.
Just as all these people have invested in the art of Titanium
framebuilding, we invest in them and their commitment to building the
best. To do anything else would be hypocritical. So what you get with
the Tephra Ti is not only the awesome ride of ti and all it’s benefits,
but also piece of mind that it was designed and made by the best people
using the best materials available.
As a bonus, we don’t have expensive advertising budgets or rolling
billboards to pay either, so the Tephra Ti is one of the more
affordable real Ti frames on the market, meaning that the Merchant
Bankers of the world are not the only ones to have all the fun.
We highly recommend you give them a smile and a wave as you blow past
them on your next ride.
